ESC 2019 Reviews soon...

As of today, every ESC song has been released for 2019! (There could be revamps, but meh.) This means we will start our 2019 reviews very shortly! If you don’t know what those are, for the 4th year we’re posting a review of each Eurosong entry. Expect one review every day or other day up until May. Hopefully we finish on time this year!

As of writing this, I’ve only heard maybe 4 or 5 songs. It’s to set up something different for this year: I want to provide a “first reaction” rating along with some words about my gut reaction to the song - as a ESC fan, but also as a potential measure for how those who listen on the night of the contest will vote. I’ve learned over three years of doing this that songs which generally get a bad rating from me - such as wanting to throw my laptop out a window - end up being successful. I’m looking to you, Croatia 2017 and Iceland 2018. I haven’t watched it, but based on rumors, Iceland might be in that category again…
